Ask the Dr……

PathSeeker Center does things differently . . . .

We provide effective therapy that everyone can afford. We also aren’t afraid to “think outside the box.”

The "Doctor"

One of the comforting presences you will meet at the Lutz office of PathSeeker Center is our therapy dog, “Dr.” Bohdi.  Bohdi sits in on some counseling sessions to lend his expertise. He puts our younger clients at ease, and even has been known to help calm down volatile marital situations.

Recently we had a chance to interview Dr. Bohdi and ask some vexing mental health questions:

Q.  Dr. Bohdi, have you heard of the dog days of summer?  Get it?  “Dog days . . . “

the "Doctor"

In our economy many good comedians are out of work . . .  and we are blessed with you.

Q. Seriously Dr. Bohdi; it’s hot.  How can I stay cool?

the "Doctor"

Don’t try to lick yourself to stay cool.  That just gets you shaved with an upside-down lampshade on your neck.  Trust me.

Q. My kids are driving me crazy this summer.  What can I do?

Two words:  Tylenol PM

Q.  Dr. Bohdi, I heard that having a pet reduces stress.  Is that true.

Certain pets can reduce your stress level.  I have four pet humans at my house and they function as my personal chef, assistant, chaffuear and massuear.  However, they do requre a lot of training.

Q.  Sometimes I hear voices.  Is that normal?

I’m not sure.  Check your hands.  In either of your hands are you holding a cell phone?  That could explain it and it’s perfectly normal.
